The rain came pouring down this afternoon!

Happy Easter!
Today we relaxed, watched TV (NCIS reruns) and just hung out.
Around 6 we took Jeffrey to Sawyers and we sat and talked to Barbara for about an hout.
Always nice to have some adult time!
We stopped at the market and grabbed a pizza then came home and watched the Walking Dead finale.
No more until October!! Geez that seems like such a long way off!

March 30

The Easter eggs Katherine made while she was at Claire's.

We finished moving the office around which looks great!
Jeff and I went to Home Depot and bought some plastic carpet runner to cover the yucky spots on the office carpet.
We sat and watched the Karate Kid with Jeffrey in the afternoon.
We watched Grimm tonight (another show I'm so glad is back on).

March 29

Katherine brought me a home a beautiful spray of orchids.

Jeff and I started moving the office around.
I watched more NCIS reruns with Sarah while Jeff went and gave a intro at Karate.
Katherine came home and left again. (Do we have a daughter?)
Tonight we watched another Elementary.

March 28

I listed a bunch more records this morning.
Jeff took Jeffrey to Masons later in the afternoon.
I went done to the dollar store and then over to Petsmart to pick a few things for the birds.
I made some more casserole and watched some NCIS reruns with Sarah.
Tonight we watched a new NCIS-LA.

March 27

This morning I took Alex to Costco for an eye exam.
Jeffrey and Katherine came with me while Jeff gave a private lesson.
We went by Target for Alex to use a gift card. He got 2 shirts and some candy.
I listed more stuff on eBay and Jeff took Katherine to Claire's and Jeffrey to Karate.
I picked him up, stopped by Ralphs and came home.
We watched Revolution tonight (yay! glad it's back!)

March 26

HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY ALEX!!!!
We picked up Katherine this morning then I cam home and listed some of the record albums I took pictures of.
I baked Alex cupcakes and sung him Happy Birthday!
Tonight we watched a new episode of NCIS

March 25

One of the records I am selling.

Spring break started to today.. No school!
Jeff and I made the rounds to the Post Office, AAA, Ralphs and Vons.
Later in the afternoon Jeff went with Jeffrey to Karate.
I went to the 99¢ store, then the Goodwill and picked up 3 photo Albums, got Jeffery and came home and made casserole.
I took about 50 pictures of record albums I am going to be listing while watching an NCIS.
In the evening we watched Elementary. (Tea and muffin for me!)

March 24

I was driving in the north end of the valley and came across the hill. I had never seen it before.

Jeff picked up Katherine and Jeffrey from the Simon's house and then I headed out to the valley.
I hit both the east Valley and the West Valley animal shelter then headed to Burbank and picked up Sarah from the airport.
At home, Erin and Kevin came over for the afternoon.
We went to the market in the evening then came home and watched the walking Dead.

March 23

This morning Jeffrey and I went to the Easter Eggstraveganza at the animal shelter.
We had a good time but didn't find any prospective dogs.
From there I picked up Katherine, went to the 99¢ store then dropped both her and Jeffrey at Jacob & Olivia's.
I ran by the Agoura Animal Shelter again but no luck.
Went home and relaxed for a little while before Jeff and I took a bag of overnight stuff to Jeffrey so he could stay over. Katherine already had her stuff.
All 4 of them were making some good money selling orange juice in front of their house.
On the way home we stopped at Ralphs and Vons then went home where we watched an episode of Elementary.

March 22

This morning Jeff and I left the house early.
We went to Taco Bell, stopped at the Dollar Store to get some Manila envelopes and then got some gas.
We had some time to kill to we went to the Agoura Animal Shelter, stopped by Costco for kitty litter, got the kids and headed home.
We had to
run out to the Post Office and Katherine got picked up by Gabby to go to her house.
Jeff and I went to the market & then next door to CVS.
At home we watched Grimm.

March 21

The last orchid is finally blooming

Jeff spent the morning packing then we went to Costco and picked up the kids.
Katherine and I went to the Camarillo Animal Shelter to look around then headed home.
Jeffrey wasn't feeling great so he stayed home and relaxed.
Tonight we watched Hawaii 5-0

March 20

Alex had to go to school extra early today because he was going to the Strings Festival with his concert strings class.
Jeff had a private lesson with Mike Core and I went to the dollar store while he was doing that.
We went back had lunch, then went out again.
We hit the post office and Ralphs then picked up the kids before we got Alex.
He had a scholarship interview after school.
I tried to adopt a little dog but when I got him home he tried to eat the cats so I had to take him back.
This evening Jeff and I watched NCIS LA... more tea and muffins!

March 19

Katherine drew this at least a year ago (maybe 2) and it's been hanging on her door every since.

We drove Sarah to the airport this morning so she could spend the rest of her spring break visiting with Em up in Seattle.
On the way home Jeff and I stopped at Todai for a yummy lunch.
A lady came by and got a cage of guinea pigs. Did I mention that we simply can't keep them because Jeff is so desperately allergic to them? =(
The kids watched the second Lord of the Rings which they really enjoyed.
Jeff and I watched NCIS tonight.

March 18

The 2 new girl parakeets.

Today I picked up Alex, dropped him off for his volunteer work at Lang Ranch, and then picked up Jeffrey & Katherine. We went to the 99¢ store then went back and picked up Alex and drove everyone home.
I drove out to Oxnard and picked up the 2 girl parakeets then got the kids from Karate and headed home.
We watched Continuum tonight.. tea and muffins too!!!

March 17

Happy St Patty's Day
Picked up Jeffrey from Sawyer's this morning.
Then spent the entire afternoon listing the stuff I got for free yesterday on eBay.
If I got asking price for everything, we would get well over $1000.
I don't expect to get all that though, so even if we get only half I will be a happy camper!
Things aren't going well with the guinea pigs. Jeff is HORRIBLY allergic to them and it looks I am going to have to find a home for all of them. ***SIGH***
Hopefully the birds will work out.
I made casserole tonight and now I'm waiting to watch the Walking Dead then off to bed!

March 16

The bead snake and snowman Katherine made the other day.

Today while Jeff went to Karate I took Katherine over to Olivia's and then went to the 99¢ Store and got a ton of veggies.
At home I sorted through some record albums and cleaned the kitchen.
Later in the afternoon I went down to Camarillo and collected some stuff a guy was giving away.
Looks like it may be worth quite a bit to sell on eBay.
Around 7 we took Jeffrey to Sawyer's and sat around for awhile and talked with Barbara.
Then we stopped at the market on the way home.
Tonight I had some yummy pears with cottage cheese before I had my tea and watched Elementary.

Jeff was giving a private lesson today at the Dojo with Mike Corr so while he was there I went down to the Goodwill and picked up a few things at the 50% off day sale. I picked up Jeff when he was done and we grabbed some burritos at Taco Bell before picking Alex and heading home.
Jeff went Karate and when he got back we all watch the next installment of Elementary which I am enjoying.

March 12

I got up and drove the kids to school (even though it wasn't my turn) so I could get the Dynamic Duo and all their stuff to the bus so they could go to outdoor school
4 fun filled days and nights of hiking, getting dirty and sleeping in cabins.
Jeff and I went to lunch today at Genki Sushi (YUM YUM) then went across to Costco before we picked up Alex.
At home I cleaned the pigs then I drove Alex back to school so he could participate in the Physics demonstration for next years incoming freshmen.
I went by Costco to return the tuna (UGH, don't even want to go into why I had to return it) then stopped by the twins house to pick up Olivia's parakeets that she didnt want anymore because she got a new, bigger Conure.
Tonight we watched Continuum and are now off to bed!

March 11

We still have pumpkins that we grew last October

Today Jeff picked up the Dynamic Duo and also Jacob & Olivia, while I picked up Alex and took him to Lang Ranch so he could get some volunteering credit by assisting in their after school violin class.
I hung out and called Sally while he was there.
I had two ladies come by and take one of the boy guinea pigs because all he wanted to do was hump any other pig I put him in with. He should have a nice home.
I picked up the kids, went to the market and came home.
Tonight Jeff was feeling better so we all watched the newest episode of Walking Dead.

March 10

Wet piggie!!

I spent a lot of time with Katherine cleaning their room and going through her art boxes.
I found an old page of instructions on how to make bead animals and showed her how to get started and she spent the rest of the afternoon making them.
Brought me back to when Sarah & Em used to make them.
She and I gave the 2 boy pigs a bath.
Jeff wasn't feeling great tonight so he went to bed early so Sarah and I stayed up and watched an old Walking Dead together.

March 9

Jeff went to Karate this morning then picked up Katherine and Jeffrey on the way home.
Erin and Kevin came over for a little while.
Jeff and I ran out to the post office and the market in the mid afternoon and when we got back I went and picked up a pair of brother and sister guinea pigs.
Katherine helped me clean the pig cages when I got back then Jeff and I watched some Saturday afternoon TV of Dr Who, the 2nd Doctor. Fun stuff!
We watched Grimm tonight... YAY it's back!

March 8

Orchid number four has bloomed.

Today was a short school day for the younger set. We went to get Alex early but he had forgotten so we had to go get the other two and double back to get Alex.
Once home, we went out again to take Jeffrey to Sawyers and Katherine to Gabby's.
We watched an episode of Hawaii 5-0 which had not recorded correctly the first time through.

March 7

This morning I picked up 2 guinea pigs from Petsmart who had gotten too old to sell.
This afternoon we went to Costco and grabbed some stuff before picking up the kids.
I took Jeffrey and Katherine to the dollar store before it got dark.
Katherine spent quite a bit of time working on her scrapbook with the stickers she got today.
We went to bed early tonight, no TV.
But it did rain pretty good starting in the early evening.

March 6

While the kids were at Karate I took Alex to Gamestop to try to sell his IPOD but they weren't offering much money so we continued onto the Goodwill where I picked up a few things including a scrapbook for Katherine, then picked up the kids, stopped by the market and went home.
While we were watching NCIS-LA tonight we had a neighborhood wide black-out. Luckily we knew where the flashlights were. It lasted about 1/2 an hour. I went outside to look at the stars but it was cloudy so I couldn't see them!

March 5

The orchids outside have bloomed!

Busy day.
I cleaned the pig cages then Jeff and I drove out to the valley and picked up belts and uniforms at ASE (martial arts supply) and on the way back we stopped at the Red Barn to get some pig supplies. Got the kids home and I worked more on the kitchen, cooked some casserole and helped Katherine clean their bathroom. She scrubbed it from top to bottom including the toilet and getting into the tub and getting all hard water stains off.
Tonight we watched NCIS and I had my cookies and tea.

March 4

After school today I took Alex back to Game Stop to exchange the games he got last week.
Picked the kids up from Karate and cleaned up the kitchen when we got home.
Watched Continuum with my tea and cookies.

March 3

Casserole

This morning we picked up Jeffrey from Sawyer's and dropped him off at Masons.
Came home and relaxed, watched the beginning of another Dr. Who special.
Later in the afternoon we went and picked up a HUGE amount of free bubble wrap I found on Craig's list, then picked up Katherine from Gabby's, Jeffrey from Mason's and then stopped at the market to dinner fixin's and headed home.
I made casserole for dinner and we watched Walking Dead after the kids went to sleep.
Off to bed!

March 2

Mr Fish

This morning I relaxed and talked to Sarah for awhile while Jeff was at Karate.
I also spent some time working on my computer based pictures for my Vintage Website.
I got a free Betta (Siamese Fighting Fish) from Craig's List and put it in my aquarium.
SO happy it's not empty anymore.
We took Jeffrey to Sawyer's house, went by Home Depot to get Sarah some wire for her school project, stopped at the market and came home.
Tonight we started watched Elementary which appears to be pretty good.
I ate ice cream (Moose Tracks) for the first time in ages... yummy but not something I can do regularly if I'm trying to be healthy.
Off to bed!

March 1

The Little Ninja belt display (still needs 3 belts)

Today Jeff and I went by the Dojo and worked on getting the Little Ninja belts onto a display rack.
Then we went by Costco before picking up the kids.
At home I cleaned the pig cage and then we took Katherine and dropped her off at TO High to get ready for the musical she is singing in tonight.
Jeff, Jeffrey and I went to pick up some dumbbells before meeting Sarah back at the High School to watch her play.
Katherine went home with Gabby and we came home and watched the next Zero Hour before heading to bed.
